Ecumenical Representative to the Archbishops Council

The Rt. Rev. Dr. Page Brooks is the missionary bishop of Missio Mosaic: A Missional Society, and serves as an ecumenical representative to the archbishops council. Based in New Orleans, the Society consists of churches, pastors, chaplains, and non-profit ministries that focus on multi-cultural ministry and cultural engagement. The Society was birthed out of the work of Mosaic Church (Canal Street Church), where Dr. Brooks serves as senior pastor. Inspired by the work of St. Patrick, the clergy and ministries of Missio Mosaic seek to engage culture believing in the transforming power of the Gospel. The Society brings together churches and clergy from many backgrounds and denominations into a unique societal fellowship.

Dr. Brooks is originally from Alabama. He attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div., Ph. D), the University of Stellenbosch (M.Th.), and is currently a post-doctoral researcher at the Vrije University of Amsterdam. In addition to his pastoral duties, Dr. Brooks serves as the theology department chair at School of Urban Missions Bible College and Seminary. He also serves as the state command chaplain for the Louisiana National Guard. He is the co-author and editor of two books, along with many other publications and scholarly articles. His areas of interest and writing include public theology, postmodernity, and Islamic studies. He is married to Dr. Ashley Brooks and has three adopted, multi-racial children.
